Quality Education Investment Act

Here in California, the California Department of Education has awarded $2.7 billion over seven years to the selected schools with what is known as a Quality Education Investment Act (QEIA) grant. This is a massive opportunity for 488 schools that were selected. All of us need to come together and share our ideas, best practices, and innovations to ensure this opportunity is effective. Of course Web 2.0 can play a part. To this end I have created a new network on Ning called the QEIA Collaborative Network. Imagine the power of 488 schools sharing and collaborating with each other.
