I am delighted to see this blog, I imaginary wrote a similar blog when I was at Cirque Du Soleil myself many years ago, so I am happy to see this one actually made it to the web.

I would add that the people who get the credit from doing all the flips and snazzy moves only can do so because of all the support of their less fancy looking team mates. I found that the applause was given to the somersaults rather than to the men who would be holding a wooden beam and having someone pound on their shoulders endlessly.

Thanks for posting this, I will definitely take a moment to think more about what I discovered there and write a follow-up to your post.
